Abstract The International Maritime Organisation (IMO) is setting clear and ambitious goals for the decarbonisation of shipping industry through introduction new regulations like Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI), Existing Ship (EEXI) Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII). However, these do not cover mobile offshore units Floating Production Storage Offloading (FPSO) that fall under same maritime regime. To embrace sustainability in their corporate strategies improve public image, it interest existing oil gas companies operators to embark on a program abating Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions careful measurement analysis.
